D-01 Islamabad
Arrive at Islamabad and transfer to hotel. Afternoon city tour of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Overnight at Hotel
Rawalpindi is a lively, bustling city with the crowded streets and colorful bazaars, through it lacks the grand monuments: nonetheless, the bazaar should appeal to anyone with the desire to see the real Pakistan. Islamabad is new capital 36 years old well-planed city of Pakistan is lush green at the footsteps of potowar hills. Visit biggest Shah Faisal Mosque; also an interesting round trip combines a tour of Shakespearean park with a visit to Lok versa, institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage.
D-02 Islamabad–Chilas
Drive to Chilas, on Karakorum high way. Meals & overnight at hotel
Karakorum high way is 8th wonder of the world. The Karakorum Highway was constructed jointly by the Chinese and Pakistanis, begun in 1960s and finally constructed in 1976,s as a link road between Pakistan and China. It is an engineering wonder, but at the cost of many lives.
D-03 Chilas-Joglot-Tarashing (2900 m) by jeep
Continue drive to Joglot by mini bus. Transfers to 4 x4 Jeeps and drive to Tarishing via Astor gorge, which have the picture sack view of Nanga Parbat (8126m). It is a constant glimpse of the inspire lures to the mountain of the Area. Lunch at Astore Valley and overnight in camp 9-10 hrs drive.
D-04 Tarashing-Nanga Parbat base camp (3650 m) in 5 hrs
After crossing the Tarashing glacier, we carry on through green meadows towards Rupal camp. We resume our ascent amidst meadows with a backdrop of Rupal face of Naga parbat, a sheer drop of 5 000 m, the highest in the world. We can see the most difficult route to Nanga Parbat summit, which was followed by the famous German mountaineer Herrligkoffer.
D-05 Nanga Parbat base camp-Shaighiri (3700 m) in 6 hrs.
We walk across lush green meadows, with crystal streams feasting countless herds of cattle, sheep and yak. Shaighiri offers excellent views of Nanga Parbat on one side and Laila Peak on the other.
D-06 Shaighiri-Mazeno base camp (4200 m) in 5 hrs
Trek to Mazeno base camp, (5-6 hrs) the clear trail continues up to Rupal River offering a flat walk through spare woods. It takes about an hour to skirt round the end of the terminal moraine to a smaller flat field called the first camp of Mazino Pass. Camp at 4200m. Meals & overnight in camp
D-07 Rest Day
Full day rest to explore the area and for photography. Meals & overnight in camp
D-08 Mazeno- Shaighiri
Trek back to Shaighiri. Meals & overnight in camp
D-09 Shaighiri- Tarashing
Trek back to Tarashing. Meals & overnight in camp
D-10 Tarashing -Karimabad
Drive to Karimabad. Meals & overnight at hotel
Hunza 55,000 inhabitants have been ruled by the Mir’s, family since the 11th century. The people are cheerful, friendly, fair-skinned and blue or green eyes. Almost all speak Brushaski and in upper Hunza they speak Wakhi. The miracle of the Hunzakuts longevity, supposedly resulting from their mostly vegetarian diet of cereals and fruits. D-11 Karimabad–Boirth Lake
Drive to Borith Lake. Meals & overnight in camp
D-12 Borith Lake–Passughar
Trek to Passughar (2-3hrs). Day hike and Traverse Passu Glacier. Meals & overnight in camp
D-13 Passughar –Luzdher
Trek to Luzhder (3-4hrs) 4000m. Traverse Passu Glacier with sections of white ice and large boulders. Luzhder camp at the base of Patundas meadow, adjust to the Passu Glacier with high cliff on its back. Meals & overnight in camp
D-14 Luzdher–Patundas Pass
Trek to Patundas Pass (4-5hrs) 4500m. Steep trek to Patundas. A meadow at the crest of a small hill. This brings you the fascinating area of upper Hunza. The highlight being Patundas Meadows 4575m.a vantagepoint, which offers views of an ocean of peaks: Shisper Dastagil Sar, Mohmil SAR, Rakaposhi and many more. Meals & overnight in camp
D-15 Patundas
Full free at Patundas Pass to explore the area and for photography for surrounding mountain. Meals & overnight in camp
D-16 Patundas Pass–(Batura Glacier) - Passu
Trek down to Batura glacier, after lunch continue trek to Gulmit (KKH) and transfer to Silk Route Lodge.
D-17 Excursion to Khunjerab Pass
Excursion to Khunjerab Pass. This is fantastic trip through a long shallow high pass, which is at 4,733m, is the highest international border crossing in the world. Afternoon back to Karimabad for overnight
D-18 Hunza- Hopper Valley
Drive to Hopper valley by 4x4 jeeps; enjoy the surrounding mountains of Spantik –Phopprash groups –Trevor group Rakaposhi 7788m, Ultar peak and ladyfinger with an altitude of 6000m to 7788m. Meals & overnight in camp
D-19 Shishkin- Barpu Giram
Trek to Barpu Giram (6-7 hrs) climb for half an hour on a hot, barren track up a stony gully to the Barpu Glacier, which comes in at a higher level from the southeast to join the Bualtar. Here near its snout, the Barpu Glacier is a black sea of soft mud and slippery ice. You will find there a view of Golden peak (7-27-m) framed in the v of the valley. Two yellow steaks of marble rising 1000 meters up its north flank give the mountain its popular name. It was first climbed in 1955 by the Germans. Meals & overnight in camp
D-20 Barpu Giram–Gutens
Trek to Gutens (4-5 hrs). A good zigzag path starts just above the huts and leads steeply up to the crest of the ridge, approximately 800 meters above you, in about two hours. Here you have impressive views north across the barren Hisper Gorge to the high mountains Lupghur, Momhil, Trivor and Bularung (all over 7, 000 meters). The path continues for a further two hours along the ridge and then climbs to the first shepherds huts at Gutens. This is a good campsite, at about 4, 000 meters. Meals & overnight in camp
D-21 Gutens–Chidin Harar
Trek to Chidin Harar (4-5 hrs) look forward to a day of tremendous views of all sides. Follow the grassy ridge up for one or two hours to the few abandoned huts at Chidin Harar. Meals & overnight in camp
D-22 Chidin Harar – Rash Lake
Trek to Rash Lake (4-5 hrs). Cross a small pass beyond which you cross a Plateau for 30 minutes, passing the first running streams since Hopar to Rash Lake. Camp beside the Lake at 4560 meters.
D-23 Rash Lake–Phahi Phari –Hamdar
Trek down to Phahi Phari (2-3 hrs), willow and juniper trees surround the site, and lavender and vetch cover the moraine. From the top of the moraine are marvelous views of Golden Peak and the Barpu Glacier. After lunch continue trek to Hamdar (2-3 hrs). A lovely place for camp, lash green, also unique view of Golden Peak. Meals & overnight in camp
D-24 Hamdar – Hopper
Trek to Hopper Valley (4-5 hrs) Hamdar to Hapkund takes one hour, with views of Golden, Chukutans, Rash Peak and Barpu Glacier. Hapakund has seven huts surrounded by wheat, potato and hay fields and is occupied for five months from the end of April-if the water supply lasts. In one more hour you reach Shishkin on a path across the hillside, where you close the loop of this varied trek. Backtrack for two or three hours down to the road head at hoper. D-25 Hopper –Karimabad
Drive to Hunza by 4X4 Jeeps, after lunch walk to Duiker valley. Meals & overnight at hotel
From Duiker top you are very close to Lady Finger (6000m) peak Unclimbed Ultar Sar 1 (7300m) and very nice view of Rakaposhi (7788m) Diran Peak (7200m) Gooden Peak (7027m) and Dastagil Sar. Evening musical program. Meals and overnight at hotel
D-26 Karimabad- Besham
Drive to Besham (9-10 hrs) Meals & overnight at hotel
D-27 Besham - Islamabad
Drive to Islamabad 6-7 hrs. Meals & overnight at hotel
D-28 Fly back
Transfer to Islamabad Airport for International Flight
